Mr. McCarthy is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice. He advises clients on a wide range of corporate governance matters and represents clients in all aspects of buy- and sell-side transactions. He also has experience with capital raising transactions and advising clients on compliance with federal and state securities laws. In addition, Mr. McCarthy serves as outside counsel to privately held companies, guiding their overall legal strategy and advising owners and senior leadership on a wide array of legal matters.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. McCarthy served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer for five years, completing two deployments on Destroyer class ships.
