Marketing Coordinator
Open to consideration of candidates with additional legal marketing experience for a higher level position.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the firm's marketing initiatives across various offices, including attorney and practice group support, maintaining and updating marketing materials and web content, assisting with RFPs and pitch packets, and coordinating firm events. The role will also involve managing contact databases, creating simple design pieces, and providing comprehensive administrative support for the marketing department. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the firm's attorneys and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update firm marketing materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with the firm's brand guidelines.
- Provide marketing support for attorneys and practice groups, including the preparation of pitch packets, proposals, and RFPs.
- Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of firm seminars, events, and sponsorship activities.
- Update and maintain the firm’s website content, including attorney bios and practice descriptions.
- Assist in managing the firm's contact management and experience databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Create and distribute client alerts, newsletters, and other firm communications.
- Track marketing initiatives, including sponsorships and events, using spreadsheets to analyze return on investment (ROI) and other metrics.
- Shadow and assist with events and projects to gain experience and provide cross-departmental support.
- Collaborate with attorneys and vendors, demonstrating professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ensure high attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of basic design principles and the ability to create simple marketing materials.
- Familiarity with website maintenance, contact management systems, and tracking spreadsheets.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on a variety of tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different practice areas and projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience in legal or professional services marketing preferred.
- Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills.

Work Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office/2 days remote) – Baltimore, MD, Falls Church or Richmond, VA
