Whiteford Receives 2024 Beacon of Justice Award

Whiteford is honored to be recognized by Maryland Legal Aid with the 2024 Beacon of Justice Award. The award is in recognition of our firm’s long-term and substantial support of Maryland Legal Aid and the Equal Justice Council.
 
Since 1997, the Equal Justice Council has raised critically needed funds for Maryland Legal Aid to promote equal access to justice. This year’s Equal Justice Awards Breakfast takes place May 21 and features keynote speaker U.S. Senator Ben Cardin.
 
Whiteford is committed to helping deliver pro bono legal services to those otherwise unable to afford legal representation. Through generations of pro bono services, Whiteford attorneys have contributed to the betterment of communities and the promotion of equitable access to justice.
