Whiteford, Taylor & Preston Ranked #1 in Baltimore, Maryland in 2008 Summer Associates Survey by the American Lawyer
Baltimore - Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is honored to announce that the firm was ranked number one in Baltimore, Maryland, by The American Lawyer Student Edition in its annual Summer Associates Survey published this fall.
Whiteford, Taylor & Preston achieved an average rating of 4.890 compared to the median score of 4.663 in the city; eight summer associates from Whiteford, Taylor & Preston responded to the survey. Other firms ranked in the Baltimore category include: Venable, Miles & Stockbridge, DLA Piper US, and Hogan & Hartson.
According to The American Lawyer, scoring questions asked "How interesting the work was, how much 'real' work was assigned, how the training and guidance measured up, how positive interactions with partners and associates were, how well the firm communicated its goals and expectations, how accurately the firm portrayed itself in interviews, and the respondents' inclination to accept a position if one were offered. The respondents were also asked to rate the firm overall as a place to work."
