Mr. Morse specializes in complex commercial and civil litigation. He has litigated an array of cases in both state and federal courts, including construction disputes, shareholder disputes, real property disputes, breach of contract claims, negligence claims, professional malpractice claims, and matters related to eminent domain.
 
From pre-litigation investigations to mediation, to discovery and motions practice, to post trial appellate briefing and oral argument, Mr. Morse has a breadth of litigation experience that he brings to every client.  Beyond litigation, Mr. Morse has represented individuals and business entities in contract negotiations, alternative dispute resolutions, and the satisfaction and enforcement of pre-existing liens and judgments.
 
Mr. Morse also represents current and formerly incarcerated persons in civil rights cases. Mr. Morse’s civil rights practice focuses primarily on claims arising from the denial or delay of medical treatment to incarcerated men and women.
 
At both the trial and appellate level, and outside the litigation context, Mr. Morse is able to identify the critical legal and factual issues to efficiently advance clients’ interests.  
 
Before entering private practice, Mr. Morse served as a law clerk for Judge Daniel A. Friedman on the Appellate Court of Maryland.  Prior to that, he served as a judicial intern for Judge Richard D. Bennett (Ret.) of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
