Action in Maturity's Thursday 35th Anniversary Event to Recognize Frederick S. Koontz for His 20 Years of Volunteer Service
Baltimore - Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is pleased to announce that Frederick "Fred" Singley Koontz, a partner in the firm's Estates and Trusts section, will be honored by ACTION IN MATURITY (AIM) at AIM...bitious, the organization's 35th anniversary event on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Rawlings Conservatory in Druid Hill Park from 6:00-9:00 p.m. AIM, a nonprofit whose mission is to sustain senior mobility and engagement in the community, is recognizing Koontz for his invaluable work as chair and a 20-year member of their Board of Directors. Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke will present Koontz with their first Champion for the Aging Award.

A participant in Baltimore Community Foundation's pilot program for older adults, Neighborhoods for All Ages, AIM's program gives assurances of safety to their families who may be distant and/or unavailable. Last year, AIM provided more than 8,000 rides to 900 older adults in northern Baltimore City.
