Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation Attorney Joins New Whiteford Office in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach – Whiteford Taylor & Preston announced today that Joshua D. Stiff has joined the firm as Counsel and will reside in a new office the firm has opened in Virginia Beach, VA. Along with offices in Northern Virginia, Richmond and Roanoke, it is the firm’s fourth Virginia office.
 
At Whiteford, Mr. Stiff joins a bankruptcy team that Chambers USA describes as “outstanding” and “[o]ne of the go-tos for any bankruptcy." His practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law and commercial litigation with an emphasis on representing parties in complex liquidations, restructurings, workouts, distressed asset transactions and other insolvency related matters.
 
Mr. Stiff is a graduate of Davidson College and William and Mary School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and recognized by Virginia Legal Elite. As well, Mr. Stiff is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association, Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association and Virginia Beach Bar Association.
