Dale Mullen Named Co-Chair of Whiteford’s Business & Corporate Practice

Whiteford is pleased to announce that Dale G. Mullen, a nationally recognized regulatory and government relations lawyer, has joined Edward Lee and John Selbach as Co-Chair of the firm's Business and Corporate Law Section.  Mr. Mullen brings to the role his experience as a former Assistant Attorney General and Chief Prosecutor for Virginia, as well as his expertise in advising clients across various industries on administrative law, regulatory compliance and government investigations. Mr. Mullen, who was appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin in 2022 to the Virginia Board of Accountancy, received his law degree from the University of Richmond and his MBA from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Mullen brings decades of business and government relations experience and an understanding of the impact of regulation on accounting standards, financial industry regulation and numerous other regulatory requirements impacting capital markets, energy, natural and historic resources, transportation, agriculture and real estate development. He advises clients, including Fortune 500 companies, on the use of innovative technologies and practical approaches to business operations.
