Harry Johnson Honored by Who’s Who In Black Baltimore

Who's Who In Black Baltimore has named Whiteford Senior Counsel Harry S. Johnson one of Baltimore’s Most Influential People

Through more than 45 years of practicing law at the firm, Mr. Johnson has focused on complex civil litigation in matters ranging from medical negligence to mass torts to real estate and land use issues. He has represented multiple local governments on redistricting and election issues and was one of the team members representing Baltimore in Thompson v. HUD, federal litigation that changed the face of public housing in the city. 

Active throughout his career in professional and civic communities, Mr. Johnson was the first African American elected President of the Maryland State Bar Association, a role in which he served from 2003-2004, and is currently the ABA State Delegate for Maryland. He has also served as Chair of both the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Board and the Executive Committee of the Maryland Hospital Association.

Founded in 2010, Who’s Who In Black Baltimore celebrates Black culture, achievement and individuals. Those recognized as Most Influential People are nominated  with input from community leaders and industry experts.

The Most Influential People awards will be presented on April 9 at a reception starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.
