Mohamed F. Sweify to Speak at Egypt Arbitration Days 2026 on Energy and Mineral Disputes

The panel, "Energy and Mineral Disputes, Full Cycle: From Term Sheet to Tribunal," will explore the full lifecycle of energy and mineral disputes, from term sheet negotiation through arbitration. Hosted by the NYSBA International Section's Egypt Chapter at the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), the in-person session will bring together counsel, state representatives and arbitration practitioners to share practical insights from both sides of the table.
Sweify will join moderator Salma Abdelaziz of Clyde & Co and fellow speakers Mohamed H. Negm of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority and Dr. Heba Anwar Raslan of Khodeir & Partners. NYSBA President Taa Grays will deliver closing remarks virtually.
Sweify is based in Whiteford's New York office. He is an international arbitration practitioner and New York litigator with 15 years of experience in complex litigation, international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution involving domestic, cross-border and international disputes. He serves as Secretary General of the NYSBA International Section and handles matters in both Arabic and English.
