Whiteford Names Griffith and Deng to New Leadership Roles

We are pleased to announce that Daniel A. Griffith has been appointed Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and Dorothy Deng has been appointed Co-Chair of the Associations, Nonprofits, and Political Organizations Section.

“Dan and Dorothy have earned the trust of both clients and colleagues and are exceptional additions to our firm leadership,” said Whiteford’s Managing Partner, Martin Fletcher.

Daniel A. Griffith, a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, joins Stephen Faraci and Charles Simmons as Co-Chairs of Whiteford’s Litigation Department. Mr. Griffith also serves as Managing Partner of the Delaware office and Co-Chair of the Tort and Insurance Litigation Section. He focuses his practice on civil rights litigation, complex insurance coverage matters and litigation arising from business disputes. He was recently named one of Delaware News Journal’s “Most Influential People in Law.”

Dorothy Deng joins Eileen Johnson and James Kahl as Co-Chairs of Whiteford’s Associations, Nonprofits, and Political Organizations Section. She has extensive experience representing associations and nonprofits, as well as a diverse business and international practice. Ms. Deng is a frequent presenter at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
