Whiteford, Taylor & Preston Adds Seven New Associates

Baltimore, MD - Whiteford, Taylor & Preston is pleased to announce that seven attorneys have recently joined the firm as associates. The Firm welcomes Sharvari Dalal-Dheini, Aneerban Ari Ghosal, Ranak K. Jasani, Kenneth M. June, Susan Jaffe Roberts, Janee L. Schroader and Paula Yu. Sharvari Dalal-Dheini is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Group in the Baltimore office. She received her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 2003, her M.A. from American University School of International Service in 2003, and her B.A. from the University of Richmond in 1997. Before joining Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Ms. Dalal-Dheini was a member of the U.S. Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa. She is admitted to practice in Maryland. Aneerban Ari Ghosal is an associate in the Technology and Intellectual Property practice group of the Baltimore office. He received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2003, where he was a member of the Catholic University Law Review. He received his M.A. from American University, School of International Service in 1998 and his B.S. at the University of Maryland in 1995. Prior to joining Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Mr. Ghosal managed a team of data analysts for a major international consulting firm under contract to integrate the U.S. Department of Defense personnel software system. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Maryland. Ranak K. Jasani is an associate in Business Litigation Law Group in the Baltimore office. She received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland in 2003 and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rochester in 1996. Ms. Jasani served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Maryland Law Review at the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and was the recipient of the William P. Cunningham Award and the Joseph Bernstein Prize. Ms. Jasani is admitted to practice in Maryland. Kenneth M. June is an associate in the Medical Malpractice Law Group in the Towson office. He received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 2002 and his B.A. from Hampton University in 1999. Prior to joining Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Mr. June worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas E. Noel in the Circuit Court of Baltimore City. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Monumental Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Baltimore City Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Maryland. Susan Jaffe Roberts is an associate in the Bankruptcy Group in the Baltimore office. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2001 and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1977. Prior to joining Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Ms. Roberts was a teacher and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. Schneider, United States Bankruptcy Judge, District of Maryland. She is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. Ms. Roberts is admitted to practice in Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Janee L. Schroader is an associate in the Business and Corporate Group in the Baltimore office. She received her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2000 and her B.A. in Accounting from the University of Miami, Coral Gables in 1997. Prior to joining Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Ms. Schroader completed a two-year clerkship as an “Attorney Advisor” to the Honorable Stephen J. Swift at the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. She also worked in the public accounting arena. She is a member of the Tax Section of American Bar Association and the Tax and Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. Ms. Schroader is admitted to practice in Maryland. Paula Yu is an associate in the Bankruptcy Group in the Baltimore office. She received her J.D. from the New York University Law School in 2003, her M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University in 2000 and her B.A. from the Foreign Affairs College in 1995. Ms. Yu is admitted to practice in Maryland.
