Brad Gatehouse is a Partner in the firm's Business Solutions, Restructuring & Financial Litigation practice. He joined Whiteford in 2025 after five years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of North Carolina, before which he was a long-time partner in another business-focused Charlotte law firm.
A veteran litigator, Brad has served as lead counsel in multiple trials and handled a wide variety of business and commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including matters involving real estate disputes, non-compete agreements and trade secrets, shareholder disputes and business divorces, breach of contract and guaranty disputes, and unfair trade practices and other business torts. His past experience also includes False Claims Act investigations as well as wrongful death, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, and officer-involved shooting cases.
