Biography
BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Hill has extensive experience representing clients in a diverse array of real estate transactions including the purchase, sale, leasing and financing of multi-family apartment complexes, office parks, shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, mixed use properties and condominiums. In addition, she has developed substantial expertise in the acquisition, disposition and financing of manufactured home communities nationwide. Ms. Hill also represents a variety of companies in connection with their corporate real estate needs.

Ms. Hill serves as counsel to a number of commercial landlords and tenants in connection with a wide range of commercial leasing transactions.  She serves as bond counsel in connection with governmental bond issues for infrastructure projects, public schools and local government buildings, and in tax exempt financings for nonprofit organizations. She has significant experience representing infrastructure companies including electric, natural gas and telecommunications interests in the acquisition of real property and easement rights.

Client Advisory: Coronavirus and Contract Enforcement in Virginia

While governments throughout the world, including the federal government and state governments in the United States, are implementing strategies for controlling the spread and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the economic fallout from the pandemic is being felt on a global scale as well as locally in Virginia.  Forced closings of businesses and schools, employees working remotely and general concerns and uncertainty about the pandemic combine to create novel challenges for businesses.
